Strategy, structuring and capital for industry in transition.

Heliodor is an international advisory and deal-structuring firm. It originates, structures and closes cross-border transactions in infrastructure, energy, water, heavy industry and the technologies that are changing all of them.

The firm

Principals, not intermediaries.

Every mandate is carried by the people who sign it, and in most of them the firm holds a position in the outcome, as co-investor, equity partner or board member.

Heliodor does not run managed introductions. It runs transactions.

The practice is the second generation of a consulting tradition that has done the same work for decades: reading markets, reading governments, bringing the right counterparties to the table and taking them to signature. Heliodor is where that tradition goes next.

Where the firm works

The industries no economy can do without, and all of them have to get cleaner.

Cement, clinker and construction materials, mining, oil and gas, energy, water and the infrastructure that connects them. Heliodor knows these sectors from the inside, at plant level and at board level, and it knows what a transition costs the companies that have to carry it out.

What has changed is the toolset. Industrial technology, automation and artificial intelligence now decide how a plant competes, how a utility manages water, and how fast an energy asset can move toward cleaner production without breaking its balance sheet. Industry has raised the standard of what quality means, and with it the value of equipment built to last. Heliodor's work sits at that intersection, taking the operational knowledge of heavy industry and applying the technologies that make the next version of it possible.

Geographically, the firm has deep roots in the Americas and Europe, long working relationships in China, Hong Kong and the Gulf, and direct working history with the multilateral development banks active in infrastructure and environmental technology across those regions.

What Heliodor does

Four things, done end to end.

01

Strategy

Market entry, expansion, consolidation and exit. Strategic plans and the roadmaps to implement them. Assessment of technology, partners and timing, informed by geopolitics and by the way capital actually moves across borders.

02

Transactions

Origination and structuring of partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and project financings. Consortium formation for engineering, financing and technology. Negotiation at owner, board and government level.

03

Capital

Sourcing and arranging the financing a project needs, from corporate lending to development-bank facilities and strategic equity. Where a mandate leads to the public markets, Heliodor knows what it takes to get there and which institutions to engage, and brings them in.

04

Technology and transition

Identifying, qualifying and integrating the industrial technologies, from process automation to AI, that let an established operation reduce its footprint and raise its margin at the same time. Heliodor's contribution is the assessment: the maturity of a technology, its performance at scale and in the conditions the client operates, and the right moment to adopt it. That judgment is formed with the industry counterparts the firm has worked alongside for decades.
